Sarah J. Schmidt
Sarah’s practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, and estate litigation. Sarah is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Beach Bar Association, and is currently serving as the Secretary of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sarah served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable H. Thomas Padrick, Jr., and the Honorable Steven C. Frucci, in the Second Judicial Circuit of Virginia, and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Mark S. Davis, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Sarah graduated magna cum laude from Regent University School of Law and received the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Graduate Award. While there, she served as a senior editor of the Regent University Law Review, and received book awards for achieving the highest grade in Elder Law, Contracts I, Civil Procedure I, Civil Procedure II, Evidence, UCC I, Drafting Contracts, Advanced Evidence, and Constitutional Criminal Procedure.
Prior to attending law school, Sarah worked as an estate planning and estate administration paralegal for over six years at law firms in Arizona, Alaska, and at the Hook Law Center in Virginia.
